ABC Just Exposed What They Are Really Up To!
10/05/06

Posted on 10/05/2006 6:33:36 PM PDT by ArmyBratproud

I just saw where ABC is claiming that 3 Pages, who won't give names and are giving "verbal accounts", offering no documentation of physical evidence, were approached by Foley.

After looking at the ABC article, it looks like ABC is in panic mode since the Drudge Report broke the story that friends of one of the Page's who was an IM recipient said it was actually a joke and the IM's fell INTO THE HANDS OF DEMOCRAT OPERATIVES ON THE HILL! It is obvious that Democrats and ABC (as well as Joe Scarborough who is just dying to poke a stick at Republicans because they found him a fraud) are trying one last ditch effort to keep the fire on the GOP. The problem is, their latest revelation comes from a tip that has not and, most likely, can not be confirmed.

ABC has no way to confirm a "verbal account" of IM's or e-mails unless they have documentation of such!

But the biggest indicator that the latest revelation may be a last ditch effort by Democrat operatives and ABC to keep the heat on is in the final 2 paragraphs from Brian Ross' page.

-An online story on the Drudge Report Thursday claimed one set of the sexually explicit instant messages obtained by ABC News was part of a "prank" on the part of the former page, who reportedly says he goaded the congressman into writing the messages.

"This was no prank," said one of the three former pages who talked to ABC News today about his experience with the congressman.-

How good for ABC and the DEMOCRATS, that right after a story is broken that shows that Dems and their liberal media allies were actually the ones who knew about the disgusting acts of Foley and that they sat on them for political gain instead of going to the authorities, that suddenly they find 3 more Page's who do NOT have to reveal their names and have no evidence to back up claims.

I'm wondering about that too. Drudge's sources were friends of the Jordan guy, so how good was their scoop? It could have been a red herring to throw into the mix. Or it could have been something else, but still misleading info.

Even if Foley got stung by Dem operatives, I’ve not heard any denials from him (at least not yet) that he sent the IM’s. All I heard was what his lawyer said: “Wah Wah, I’ve got a drinking problem. Wah Wah I was molested, Wah Wah I’m sorry”, Wah Wah, I’m a Gay Man. What’s next, I’m a Scientologist and I’m being persecuted? Geeze. He should have hit on James McGreevey instead of underage pages.

So Foley’s innocent until proven guilty but I tend to think the Dems went bobbing for a rotten apple and they found one and if so, good riddance to him.

The real issue as far as I’m concerned is who else in the Republican Party the Democrats will try to tie to his deviant behavior and smear before the election.

Democrat: “You had an office on the same floor as Rep Foley, yet you didn’t rifle through his papers, read his emails and follow him home every night? Well you are just as responsible then – you should have know or should have take action”.

That’s the real smear campaign and what they were probably after all along. Foley is small potatoes and just the bait. The big ones are in the leadership like Hastert.

And meanwhile FOX is letting itself get played to dessiminate likely bogus claims to its larger audience while ABC avoids taking the heat by NOT airing it on its nightly newscast.

Wow! This is news reporting at its worse. Publishing unsubstantiated verbal accounts, with no proof to back up what is said, as fact. ABC has really sunk to a new low! This is definitely grounds for malicious slander!

If it was all a joke and Foley was goaded into typing these messages....why the hell did he resign so fast?
Not even a "harumph" from Foley as he proclaims his innocence. He just up and scoots.
Very odd.

The Dems are behind it.

Now if a few Reps are joining in for their own political reasons, that's a given, but the Dems are the only ones that orchestrate sick scams like this.

I'm going to bet that abc is going to come away from this with a ton of "egg on their face", just as SeeBS did in 2004.

Bet?

Their "credibility" is in the crapper and they are ALMOST smart enough to KNOW it.

By the way, I have my theory...

1) Foley likes young men. A lot. And, if the IMs are verbatim, his "liking" is pathological.

2) ABC got the IMs from someone petty and unimportant who just happened to have them. The timing of that petty and unimportant person was probably political.

3) Foley resigns, if not because the leadership forced him, because he's thinking "holy crap, lord knows the crazy drunken horny crap that I've said to lord knows whose son"

4) Democrats, as usual, look like partisan exploitative hacks in their blustery indignation. "Who knew what, when.. etc" as they attempt foolishly to bring the scandal into the "Corrupt Republican Congress" mold.

5) People all around the world now know the name and face of one of the pages. I wouldn't want to be him; if he played the prank as Drudge says, he has a little bit of it coming. If not, he probably still has it coming since only he could have let those IM transcripts slip into someone else's hands.

6) Jordan whatever is not a Soros plant or a machiavellian mastermind; he's at least got way too much time on his hands to carry out a years-long pseudo-cybersex relationship with someone 30 years his senior, and at most a gay guy who actually liked the attention.

7) Hastert knew little, Pelosi knew little.. nobody's heads are going to roll, including Foley's (legally speaking). Nobody was blackmailed.

(Just my impressions, I tend to look for the simplest theory when no credible evidence leads me elsewhere)

To go with your post makes me think of a recurring thought that keeps going through my mind when I hear people say "God Bless America".

How do people expect God to bless America with its degeneration into the abyss of Satan?

Abortions and, homosexuality just to start with.

I posted this in there reader comment section. I'm sure they won't put my comment on their site though.

Comment posted:

It seems to me that there’s something fishy about all this… A group of teenage boys are not put up with a homosexual hitting on them. Ask your own teenage sons how they would react to such BS. This would have been in the news the same day. That’s exactly how a teenage boy would react. A normal teenage boy, unless he was really a wimp, would not put up with this for five minutes, much less “years” as we are ask to believe.

Keep it in mind that 17 year old boys, although they are underage, some that age serve in the military. To keep there mouths shut all these years and not to fight back does not say much for them as a group. I sure am glad they didn’t enlist at 17 like I did.

As for Foley, he clearly is a homosexual from everything we’ve heard. IMHO, they should ALWAYS be segregated from children; be it in the schools, the church, the Boy Scouts, or the page program. We don’t want them preying on our kids.

...who won't give names and are giving "verbal accounts", offering no documentation of physical evidence, were approached...

Okay, fine.

I would be willing to wager that there are many, many former minor-aged pages who have been approached by DEMOCRAT members of Congress seeking to have sex (hetero or otherwise) with them.

THE DOOR IS NOW WIDE OPEN FOR THEM TO COME FOREWARD ANONOMOUSLY

So, all you former pages who have been hit upon by Dem Members and didn't like it - - now is your chance to visit due justice upon them without fear of public embarrassment.

Sean Hannity at Fox News might be a place to inquire about anonymously airing such a story.

.

Have you heard the newest revolations with regard to the emails the C.R.E.W. gave to the FBI. This excerpts from:

http://www.strata-sphere.com/blog/

"The FBI said the emails provided by CREW had the Page’s name redacted and made following up impossible. They also said CREW edited the emails (they are not scans, they seem to be recreations - signs of RaThergate and Downing Street all over again). CREW challenged these claims and let slip the emails included the name of the Page and the Staffer (my guess is the name of the staffer is key to the investigation)."

If this was just about him (Foley) being Gay, then he would (or could have) have stepped up and said “Yes, I’m Gay. But all the charges against me are false. I did not send those messages. I’ve not had any inappropriate contact, ever, either verbal or physical with any underage person, period. This is a political attack by the Democrats against me because I am a Republican and I’m Gay and I will be exonerated. The Democrats claim to be the party of inclusiveness and diversity but they are hypocrites”

If I were innocent, I’d have said something like this. Did he? Sadly no. If he had, I’d have stood up for him.
