Macsmind notices that Patrick McHenry R-NC put Pelosi and Emmanuel on the spot. From The Hill, which notes that he
... called on Democratic leaders yesterday to testify under oath about when they knew of former Rep. Mark Foley's (R-Fla.) Internet communications with a House page.
...Pelosi and Emmanuel refuse to take a polygraph test over the Foley mess.
Pelosi has also refused to make a sworn affadavit.

I think I heard tonight that the House committee had issued 40 subpoenas. What? Will Congress be called back in session?

Doesn't matter. The damage is done here. The drive-bys will beat this drum until Election Day. I hope to God I'm wrong, but get ready for the Congress from Hell come January.

The damage is done but not like you think. The one thing that revs up the Republican base is Democrats in full Dem mode.

Speaks volumes as to their part in this mess.

It's one thing to refuse a polygraph. It's quite another to refuse to go under oath. Wasn't SHE the one who, when demanding a full investigation, insisted the GOP testify under oath? For her to refuse will send red flags to all voters who are watching this unfold.

Looks like Pelosi is imploding.
If Pelosi is innocent, why not give a sworn statement?

I bet they knew long before Denny Hastert did.Yet, Hastert remains in the MSM's crosshairs. "What did he not know, and when did he not know it?" I honestly believe they think that is a valid question.

I smell something stinky and down right ROTTEN! If they are under oath they will be caught with the lies they spout every day.

Wikipedia is largely a haven for political spinmeisters to revise history.
It sounds like the Democrats' Gerry Studds entry is a perfect case in point.

Patrick McHenry R-NC, my new Hero.

"Hmmmm. Anyone smell something stinky here?"
Nothing stinky. The RATS are caught and like usual, the Republicans are telling them they have been caught and are offering them a way out. The way out lets everyone know the RATS are ethically challenged and at the same time makes people think.
