All this proves is that Foley had to go. Which has happened.
I don't think the GOP leadership knew about any of this, so there really isn't a story. Foley was a perv and now he's gone.
The longer the Dems/Media play this, the more obvious it is that it is a coordinated attack. The GOP base isn't stupid, they can see through this and will not allow dirty politics to change this election.

This is indeed a scandal, but the whole Hastert thing is a press manufactured secondary scandal to escalate it by the press - the one that carries the most danger.

I don't think the GOP leadership knew about any of thisI don't know Dennis Hastert personally, but there are decent, heterosexual men in this world and he strikes me as one. I believe if he had gotten a whiff of this, he would have taken immediate action against Foley.
