I hate that commercial, I also hate the ford commercial where the dad is "allowed" to spend the weekend with the family before the wife driving the ford drops him off at his house and drives away.
Oh, that one gets me furious!!!!
OMG I hate that one too! They portray the father as a eunuch while the "tough" mom drives away.
That Ford commercial is just weird, and doesn't give me a good feeling at all.
Yep, is it any wonder that the big auto is racing big MSM into the the graveyard? These are afterall the same idiots who signed union contracts that anyone should have known would bankrupt them in the future.
"I also hate the ford commercial where the dad is "allowed" to spend the weekend with the family before the wife driving the ford drops him off at his house and drives away."
I HATE that commercial too! I'm glad I'm not the only person who has noticed how revolting it is. Who the heck are they trying to reach with that ad, beaten down divorced dads? B*tchy ex-wives? (Not that the woman in the ad is so bad, but you know what I mean). I think it is the worst ad ever, I don't even know what car it is for.
I'm so glad you brought that up! I HATE THAT COMMERCIAL with the Dad. It really makes me never want tobuy a Ford.
"I also hate the ford commercial where the dad is "allowed" to spend the weekend with the family before the wife driving the ford drops him off at his house and drives away."
Thank you! I thought I was nuts because no one else around me saw the sadness and reinforcement of what "second class citizens" Dads are these days in that commercial. Bet that commercial "Dad" also has the luxury of paying for that Ford and for the nice two-car attached garage it gets parked in each night while he has a fried egg on his hotplate for dinner. *Rolleyes*
WHO is in charge of Mass Marketing these days? Oh, that's right...all of those 22 year old "Mellonheads" coming out of Liberal colleges. To THEM, these images seem NORMAL because they hate America and don't have Dads as this past generation was raised by packs of femi-gnatzie, turkey-baster impregnated "wymyn."
John Mellon Cougarcamp (as my toddler son used to call him) didn't WRITE this drivel...he just lent his name & voice to it, which makes him an accomplice to this particular brand of stupidity. *Rolleyes*
dad is "allowed"
I HATE that ad as well!!!!!!!
I hate that commercial too. My kids hate leaving MY HOUSE.
I am surprised the wife is dropping the guy off at a house....usually with the lib/dem courts...he winds up living in a homeless shelter/cardboard regfrigerator box/or a dumpster!!!!!
Yet, she gets the kids/the house and of course the brandy new ford...he gets the bills!!!!
what a great car commerical....makes all the male in the US want to go right out and buy one!!!
I can't stand that ad. It makes me feel like I'm being set up.
My Chrysler 2001 Grand Caravan has been a trooper with over 100,000 miles. She's starting to feel her age and my next vehicle will be smaller, but I'm sure going to give another Chrysler vehicle preference.
My dad is a GM retiree. I get away with it because my FIL retired from Chrysler. ;-)
Amen, brother! As a divorced dad I see the ad as playing to the FemiNazis and the enabling judges who have destroyed the American family.
