You can't always tell if someone is gay just by looking at them. I've been very surprised in that past. You admit you didn't know him well. I guess that would explain why he didn't tell you about the prank. I'm sure it's not something that he advertised.

A frat prank gone bad. A sniggering 18 year old frat boy enticed a booze-soaked middle-aged gay man into sending pathetic and salacious lustful IMs so the whole frat boy crew could laugh themselves sick.
And the MSM and Democrats cynically manipulated and refashioned the prank into the myth of the cherubic prepubescent 12 year old page preyed upon by a cunning and powerful Republican pedophile.

His MySpace page certainly gave the impression that he was a jerk...and not very bright given what he posted there.
From the Drudge post, it appears that others in the campaign who knew Jordan Edmund did know about is 'little prank' - he's toast politically, if not criminally, and so is any one around him.

I've had an icky feeling all along about some of these pages not being the victims they're being made out, that they mocked Foley, thought he was wierd, and yucked it up about him for cruel sport. If I'm right, their sexuality would have little or nothing to do with the "games" they might have cooked up, so Jordan's sexuality is irrelevant.
So, Jordan Edmund made the bomb (the IM logs). Did he also throw it (give the IM logs to ABC)? If not, who did?

I guess you'd better talk to PhiKap Mom, because she has an entirely different opinion of the kid. He was working as a mole for the Istook campaign during the primary.
There was also a post on her thread that claimed that another page in the same class as Edmonds, considered him to be gay. I think the description was that they knew he was gay within the first ten minutes of meeting him, that he wasn't at all naieve, and enjoyed the whole scene in DC.
