In history class today we were talking about the debauchery of Rome and my teacher brought up the Foley scandal. Some banter went back and forth amongst the class and this one guy says he heard on the news(AirAmerica?) that Foley gave the RNC $100,000 from his campaign and that it was hush money so he could save his job, lol.

Don't hold your breath, the cumulative effect of years and years of liberal bias and the flood of pre-election pro-Democratic Party propaganda adds 10%+ to the Democratic vote totals.
There is no way a party and politicians who are so to the left of the electorate could possibly survive without the MSM obscuring their real political beliefs.

This summer, Foley gave $100,000 to Tom Reynolds for the NRCC. The other big account Republicans all gave similar amounts. It would be weird if he didn't pony up the cash.

Seems to me no-one in Washington goes to jail for crimes they commit.
Lots hearings and, lots of trials but no convictions seems to be the norm.

I'm just glad it isn't that way here where I live, most criminals here serve jail time.
