This story is happening so fast, that I need to ask a question - was the former page trying to shake down Foley or did he make a false statement to the FBI already? I suspect the page hired the lawyer after he realized what deep do do he was in because of the prank. After all, if you and your buddies played a prank years ago you might be rather surprised when your target loses his job over it later.

It was reported on Channel 9 news last night that his attorney Stephen Jones had already been contacted by the FBI and the House Ethics Committee. Had to listen to a replay of the news to make sure I got it right and I did.
