CLAIM: FILTHY FOLEY ONLINE MESSAGES WERE PAGE PRANK GONE AWRY
**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**
According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded an unwitting Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats.
The primary source, an ally of Edmund, adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund. Both are fearful that their political careers will be affected if they are publicly brought into the matter.
The prank scenario only applies to the Edmund IM sessions and does not necessarily apply to any other exchanges between the former congressman and others.
The news come on the heels that Edmund has hired former Timothy McVeigh attorney, Stephen Jones.
Developing...
He's creepy. I don't know anything about his . . . preferences.
SERIOUSLY!? Where did you read/hear that?
You need to look up the definition of a pedophile.
Here's the definition from Psychology Today:
"Pedophilia is considered a paraphilia, an "abnormal or unnatural attraction." Pedophilia is defined as the fantasy or act of sexual activity with prepubescent children."

They got coal in their Fitzmas stocking, but dreams die hard. They want that pony so bad, they can smell the manure.
It sure would seem like he could. His explanation could be he didn't want to cause the House any undue burden in dealing with his personal issues. Unlike democrats who would stop the people's business while fighting to keep their seat.
At first I thought BKF was trying to be funny...but then I saw he was serious.
"That is BS; Hasert could have forced this dirt bag pedophile out. It is done all of the time."
Foley was elected by Floridians. Hastert is not his "boss"
That would be great but I really don't think they have the backbone to do it.
Maybe the lawyer is not Internet-savvy...
I'll renege on my earlier opinion ~ Nancy has got to be waterboarded now. Only way we can trust what she says.
Tell you the truth, after I heard about that "prank"...read setup...I kind of feel sorry for Foley. Although I'll allow that there's much more about Foley that I likely don't know. But give the hysteria time to die down, and let there be no more revelations about Foley, and I think the GOP could play up this angle.
Poor guy got duped then lost his seat in congress. All at the expense of a couple of yuk-yuks taking advantage of a demented and sexually frustrated soul. The Dems would pick up this spin in a minute.
Pelosi grabs Denny's gavel. Then, Drudge reveals the real Foley/Page story. Nancy starts to pound her head as her dreams implod all over her.
That the Repubs now have a BETTER candidate than Foley in Florida?
I'd say that's big.
...and what on earth is up with that "meek, little baby voice" of his? Oh, and doesn't one think he'd maybe get his teeth whitened with a couple of those bucks of his? Uck!
I don't see that this changes things a great deal, actually. If Foley *thought* he was typing in nasty stuff to a 16-yo boy, he is still despicable.
OTOH, if this was saved for an October Surprise by the Dems (as it certainly appears to have been), then that's pretty despicable on the part of the Dems, too. But hey, what else is new?
Retired Congressman Gerry Studds, D-Mass., did act. He even roped his 17-year-old boy toy into a press conference to denounce the outrageous invasion of their privacy (which led to his censure by the House). Then he proceeded to get elected to five more terms. What's Miss America think of that?
This story just keeps getting weirder and weirder, I tell you.
There's nothing wrong with a 52-year-old man trolling for teenagers?? Will you tell your kids that?
