Need to add this from an AP story on Wednesday to the timeline. Here is the key quote.
“I was still pretty shell shocked myself,” Fordham said of the day he learned about the messages. “This was someone I had worked for 10 years. I had no inkling that this kind of blatantly reckless - just obscene - behavior was going on behind our backs.”
Read the rest. Fordham has not just changed his story but he has reversed himself 180 degrees.

Is this the poster's screen name that has now been determined, per Drudge's posting, to be the now 21 year old campaign manager for the Ishook campaign?

"A posting on ABCNEWS.COM of an unredacted instant message sessions between Rep. Mark Foley and a former congressional page has exposed the identity of the now 21 year-old accuser.
The PASSIONATE AMERICA webmaster tells the OKLAHOMAN that "he stumbled onto the former page's AOL screen name when looking at transcripts of the instant messages on ABC's Web site on Saturday. He said he typed a slightly-different Web address into his browser and found a version of the transcript with the screen name.
The AOL name of the young man was kept unredacted and housed on ABCNEWS.COM servers for 5 days!
The information could be publicly accessed."
Here's the real story:
The former page, now campaign manager for the Istook campaign, is Jordan Edmund. From posts last night from people in a position to know, Jordan is (a) gay; (b) a poly-sci major at U CAL Berkeley; and (c) a political operative.
Jordan is only 21- years old, and from California, and yet managed to land the job as campaign manager for a REPUBLICAN in Oklahoma!!
Jordan also apparently has a 'companion', also a 21 -year old from California and also allegedly gay, working with him on the campaign!
The former Foley staffer, Fordham, who initially 'reported' on Foley's activities, is also gay. It's also documented that he was being threatened with an "outing" by Dem activists if he did not play ball with them in their plans to destroy Foley.
Fordham, curiously enough, worked as a staffer in Oklahoma (!!) for Sen Inhofe, before moving to Foley's office -- suggesting that Fordham might have been responsible for securing the 'placement' for our young Jordan Edmund.
So Fordham appears to have been blackmailed by lib-gay "outer's", and he apparently does their bidding to protect himself. Not only does Fordham produce Foley's e-mails, which would identify and put the blackmailers in touch with Jordan Edmund -- but Edmund gets a political job that he has no apparent qualifications for, in an area where Fordham has a connection.
Edmund apparently has an "angel" that arranged for his plum operative job. The "angel" is the same person who blackmailed Fordham. The angel is a gay Democrat activist-blackmailer. Edmund likely shared his IM experiences with Foley with the activist.
The activist planned the October surprise, in coordination with ABC News. ABC News decided that Hastert could be the big prize, and up'ed the ante on the story. ABC News is 'protecting the identity of the gay activist blackmailers, and calling them instead the "intermediary" and falsely implying that they are republicans -- a VERY big lie. HMMMM.....
Has anyone been able to find out who registered the "stopsexpredators.blogspot.com" website?
i was wanting to see something like this.
So it appears after Foley was told to knock it off, he did.

Good News... Bad News...The bad new is they are still not paying enough attention... There are others within reach... If the Democrats would only fight half as hard as the Republicans. I posted comments at the DCCC website on the Foley entry. Not only do their promises of returned calls and emails never come to fruition, but now they are deleting my comments from their blog, The Stakeholder. This is certainly interesting:
Story now says that Foley's Instant Messages were with someone OVER 18.
This also does not disclose that Fordham is a homosexual. (nor does this indicate that it is now open season on homosexual staffers because they are now all political liabilities)
Two things: First, do you mean ex-male Page, or male ex-Page? Just curious, after all, Vivyan sounds like (s)he could be a 'transexual'.
Second, you should have more detail on the IM's near Jordan Edmund's 18th birthday. There was one, apparently from after the Congressional adjournment in Dec. 2002 arranging a dinner date for late Feb. 2003, after J.E.'s 18th birthday, and the much-published lewd one from April 2003.
Okay, I take part of that back. I see Vivyan is the last name. Tyson doesn't sound like the name a guy would use after submitting to emasculation and starting to take estrogen.

According to two people close to former congressional page Jordan Edmund, the now famous lurid AOL Instant Message exchanges that led to the resignation of Mark Foley were part of an online prank that by mistake got into the hands of enemy political operatives, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.
According to one Oklahoma source who knows the former page very well, Edmund, a conservative Republican, goaded Foley to type embarrassing comments that were then shared with a small group of young Hill politicos. The prank went awry when the saved IM sessions got into the hands of political operatives favorable to Democrats. This source, an ally of Edmund, also adamantly proclaims that the former page is not a homosexual. The prank scenario was confirmed by a second associate of Edmund.
The news come on the heels that former FBI Chief Louis Freeh has been named to investigate the mess.
