'Republican Party Imploding,' Pelosi Says By Susan Jones CNSNews.com Senior Editor October 05, 2006
(CNSNews.com) - "We are winning" says the subject line of an email that House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi beamed to Democrats on Thursday.
"After years of unbridled corruption and deception, under the pressure of a relentless Democratic surge, the Republican Party is imploding with just over 30 days left before Election Day."
Pelosi was writing on behalf of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, a group that raises money to elect Democrats to Congress.
"The Republicans are desperate," Pelosi said. "The only thing they have left to offer is fear. And the fear-mongering is turned up to full volume in congressional races all across the country. Their attacks will get dirtier. Their lies will get more outrageous," she warned.
Pelosi said the Republicans' only chance of winning is to spend their "massive special interest-funded war chest on Karl Rove's proven 'smear and fear' tactics."
Pelosi's fund-raising pitch says Democratic candidates can stay competitive, only if the DCCC is able to "level the financial playing field."
"We cannot let our candidates be overwhelmed by this tidal wave of negative advertising. I ask you to join the fight by contributing all you can," Pelosi said.

There are some comments I need to make regarding Rep. Nany Pelosi. The nitty-gritty of what I'm about to write is this: Censorious dopeheads are more susceptible to Rep. Pelosi's brainwashing tactics than are any other group. Like water, their minds take the form of whatever receptacle she puts them in. They then lose all recollection that Rep. Pelosi wants to turn us into easy prey for self-righteous, maledicent megalomaniacs. What's wrong with that? What's wrong is Rep. Pelosi's gossamer grasp of reality. Taking that notion one step further, we can see that idle hands are the devil's tools. That's why Rep. Pelosi spends her leisure time devising ever more snotty ways to create a world sunk in the most abject superstition, fanaticism, and ignorance. From secret-handshake societies meeting at "the usual place" to back-door admissions committees, her secret agents have always found a way to borrow money and spend it on programs that empty garbage pails full of the vilest slanders and defamations on the clean garments of honorable people. But this is something to be filed away for future letters. At present, I wish to focus on only one thing: the fact that I call upon her to stop her oppression, lies, immorality, and debauchery. I call upon her to be a woman of manners, principles, honour, and purity. And finally, I call upon her to forgo her desire to divert us from proclaiming what in our innermost conviction is absolutely necessary. Let me end by appealing to our collective sense of humanity: Thanks to Rep. Nany Pelosi we're all in a free fall into a pit of faddism.

I agree with her about the "relentless" though.
If all the Republicans have to offer is fear, all the Democrats have to offer is stupidity. Becuause I can't think of anything more stupid than the phrase "Speaker of the House Pelosi." Keep hope alive, Nancy! I look forward to seeing her second facial expression when they lose next month.

She is a Class A Bitch. Someone on another thread said he would walk across glass to vote now in Nov. I hope those who were thinking of sitting out because of "whatever" get in line in droves to keep this "piece of caca" out of leadership.

I predict a Republican landslide on November 6th, and we will owe it all to Mark Foley.
Her title is on the line. When the Dims lose the mid-terms, she and Howie Dean will be the first to walk the plank by the Clintonistas, who'll take full power of the Democrat Party for 2008.

I always read her statements for amusement, but this is the first one I've read where she actually came across like a real Bolshevik.
