When King Charles III converts to Islam on November 2, 2017, it will spark a horrific change in Britain and Europe from which it is unlikely to recover.

Cameron is the Tories Bill Clinton. Or possibly John McCain.

John McCain spoke at the Conservative Party conference. He also endorsed Cameron's approach.

Thanks a lot!

Well I told you, Seven, I don't like David Cameron or the new Tree Party. I joined the UK Independence Party.

You may not like it, but Western Europe by and large now has a standard of living comparable to the US.

Yeah, right. They *still* drive on the wrong side of the road. And they can't even spell or pronounce their own bloody language correctly. :-)

Cheers!

Well, can you blame us for wanting to send him out of the country? Okay, we probably should have sent him to be Chirac's headache I'll grant you that.

Have to hand it to him though. He has a talent for finding ways to attach his burr to the side of conservatives from continent to continent.

We'll do our best to remove the pain beginning in '08.

A bit more about it:

Cameron draws strength from McCain

I'd rather McCain had stayed home.

Techically his home is in Arizona.

I don't think he could pinpoint it on a map.

I was thinking that his home was inside the Beltway, myself.

For now.

McCain envisions his home address in recent future to be 1600 Penn Avenue.

This would be the source of my nightmares.

What's the significance of the date?

In 2017, that date will be Eid, the ending festival of Ramadan. Charles will see it as a gift to Dar Al Salaam.

This just goes to show that the conservative movement in the US has no real counterpart in Britain, and probably not in Europe (or the rest of the world for that matter, though I do think Australia moved to ban gay marriage).

British conservatives would be Democrats in the US, or Chafee/Danforth type Republicans.

I have yet to hear ANYTHING good about Cameron.

The best thing for the remaining conservatives in Great Britain is for Labor to keep winning until the Tories finally come to their senses.

We have some excellent conservative Freepers from Great Britain. Otherwise I would wonder if Britain has ANY conservatives left.

It's very convenient for Cameron that Lady Thatcher's health is poor. Lord Tebbit, her right hand man, has been fighting back - the Party loves him. As ever, there is a distance between the Party and the Leadership.

Thatcher apparently wasn't pro-life, so she might not feel strongly about gay marriage.
