Let me preface this by saying I in no way approve of Foley. He is slime.
That being said, can any lawyers on the board comment on whether, if it turns out Foley was very careful and all contact of a sexual nature occurred with individuals 18 and over, whether Foley would have a cause of action against ABC and the DNC for representing him as "a pedophile" involved with "young boys"? Libel? Defamation of character?
I guess my big problem is why these boys (they are not children..even at 16) responded to and were themselves explicit in their response. In theory, the IMs and or emails should have said: "Go away dude".
Who's the Predator?? Would a "......" with a Congressman be considered a "notch" to a young homosexual??
