FWIW, I have emails and AIMS from last decade still saved. I don't see anything necessarily suspect about saving correspondences from even years ago.

My sister archives all her emails. She still has emails from me that I sent her more than six years ago!

It's fun to sometimes go through old emails and see what I was doing at the time. I still have some of the first emails from the woman I married in 2002.

Kind of like a non-published blog. An email log, as it were: an emlog.
