from what i heard, swann wiped the floor with rendell when they met last time.
Swann has more class in his eyebrow hair than Fast Ed has in his entire pathetic excuse of a human body.......
The Republican mayor of Easton, PA, Phil Mitman, endorsed Rendell.
what a dope....rendell must be sending him $$$$
come on Swannie.......kick rendell's ass!!!1
Rendell unofficially endorsed Rick Santorum.
Go figure?
The Swann/Rendell and Blackwell/Strickland debates will be on C-Span tonight.
It's crazy, but there are a lot of Republicans around here that like Rendell.
He did??
I saw the last five or ten minutes. The most memorable line IMO was when the two were talking about education and the dismal testing scores of Pennsylvania's students compared to those in the surrounding states. Rendell went on some BS tangent about how, 'We are going to make a one time payment to ensure that EVERY single child in PA has a laptop at school.'(something along those lines) And then Swann got his time and said something like, 'There is no doubt a laptop is a great tool for learning but what good is it if you can't read?'
I think Swann appeared educated about the issues and confident he's the man for the job, but to be fair I only saw the end of the debate.
As for Rendell he appeared to be the snake that he is, but he's slippery for sure. I'll give him that.
BUMP
After fat eddie was raving about the improvement in the PA education system, Swann quoted the numbers on the most recent AP test given to high school seniors. In 2005, out of 2200 black seniors in Pittsburgh, only 29 took the test and only 3 passed.
He then asked eddie about his campaign PROMISE in 2002 to reduce property tax by 30%. hahahaha, that's a joke. The tax reduction.....000000000000......
Anyone who watched, but I'm afraid not many did, would know that Swann beat him.
Freep the poll! So far 66% say Swann won the debate.

Don't forget Vernon Robinson!
And I hope Herman Caine gets back into a race sometime soon!
