I saw the last five or ten minutes. The most memorable line IMO was when the two were talking about education and the dismal testing scores of Pennsylvania's students compared to those in the surrounding states. Rendell went on some BS tangent about how, 'We are going to make a one time payment to ensure that EVERY single child in PA has a laptop at school.'(something along those lines) And then Swann got his time and said something like, 'There is no doubt a laptop is a great tool for learning but what good is it if you can't read?'
I think Swann appeared educated about the issues and confident he's the man for the job, but to be fair I only saw the end of the debate.
As for Rendell he appeared to be the snake that he is, but he's slippery for sure. I'll give him that.
I agree with Swann about computers. What good is it if you can't read. Most kids use computers for games and instant messaging in their abbreviated text.
