Excuse me, but I can think of a dozen people more deserving of a birdfarm namesake than one-term "Read My Lips"...

We need this thing operational NOW.
Unfortunately, my guess is that it will take quite a while.

Since Reagan had a Carrier named after him....BUSH HAD TO HAVE ONE TOO.
Excellent. A WWII hero, a great man, and a good President.
I can only hope they don't do one for the toon.

To: Killborn
Ya wonder what they use Clinton's name on! One of the Mustang Ranches in Nevada? "The BJ Clinton"! Ha!

This class of air craft carrier is always named after a president. And GHW Bush did a lot of different things behind the scenes to help this country. Unlike the peanut farmer who got a sub named after him.

Don't worry, Kill, that won't happen. And even if it did, it would have to be a floating whorehouse.

For a one term President?
Well deserved?
It lowers the honor of the one given to Reagan.
"Read My Lips' "No New Taxes" one termer did not deserve to be honored in the same way as Reagan.
To: Killborn
I am with you, a very honorable pilot, er, unlike Kerry, Clinton.
Critics...how many times have you told your wife 'read my lips, no more shopping'.

He became the youngest pilot in the Navy at the time, receiving his commission and naval aviator wings before his 19th birthday.Bush flew the Avenger torpedo bomber in combat from the carrier USS San Jacinto. During an attack on enemy installations near Chichi Jima in September 1944, his plane was hit by enemy fire while making a bombing run. Although the plane was on fire and heavily damaged, he completed a strafing run on the target before bailing out of the doomed aircraft. Bush parachuted into the sea and was later rescued by the Navy submarine USS Finback
with the Japanese hot on his heels...
Ever see a book about it? A movie? A TV special?
Of course not = he's a republican

This class of air craft carrier is always named after a president.USS John Stennis?
Besides, if that were so, what's wrong with USS James Madison, or James Monroe, John Adams, or Thomas Jefferson?
