We need this thing operational NOW.
Unfortunately, my guess is that it will take quite a while.
It'll be at the very least 2 years before she is even close to being combat ready and certified.
Hopefully she isn't a big clusterf*ck like the Reagan was when she was commissioned. The crew spent over a year practically tearing the ship apart and redoing everything. It was all because one year during the building of the Reagan, Newport had a union strike and they ended up doing a rush job on her to get done on time.
