DEMOCRAT 537 ROBOCALLS ON FOLEY! (Democrats Moving In For The Kill!)

Dem 527 Robocalls On Foley

Democrats are moving in for the kill. American Family Voices, a 527 run by ex-Clinton aide Mike Lux, is sending recorded telephone calls to hundreds of thousands of undecided voters in 50 congressional districts across the country.

This is a message from America Family Voices. Congressional Republican leaders including speaker Dennis Hastert covered up for a child sexual predator. Congressman Mark Foley was shielded by Republican leaders for at least 9 months after they knew Foley was trying to seduce a 16 year-old boy, a congressional page. ABC News reported that senior Republican staffers were warning pages about Foley since 2001. Call Congressman Rob Simmons at 860-886-0139 and demand he stop the cover-up. The answer is arrests, resignations and a new congressional leadership. Go to www.... to sign our petition.

I agree! Get the word out and get your friends and family to the polls. I have always been a loyal contributor to the RNC. I had not been overly motivated to give to them this year although I have been contributing to individual candidates. Yesterday motivated me to make a contribution.

Someone please educate me: What's the time limit for electioneering by a 527? I was thinking they can't mention a politician's name in their messages within 60 days of a general election. What's the real deal on the CFR regulations?

If true, then whatever impact that might have will depend entirely on what was done about it. If the senior democrat, say, forwarded the IMs to law enforcement, as CREW did, or contacted Hastert's office then it won't hurt them. Actually, that would probably make things even a bit worse for the GOP. If, on the other hand, the senior democrat held on to the info for the right timing, and particularly if the senior democrat colluded with other democrats about how to leverage the info for political advantage, then this would probably become just as damaging for the Dems, if not more so.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the details are.

What goes around comes around. If this was a plan that they have been sitting on for sometime (which certainly has the appearance) it will come back and bite them. They better make sure their house is clean before taking about the neighbors dirty house.

POLITICAL speech protects "LIES" so why can't the GOP put out a damning message of it's own?

Oh wait...I got it.... they don't want to LOWER themselves to the enemies level!!

Getting his rocks off superseded everything - his party, GOP voters, a President fighting a life-and-death struggle against Islamofascism, all of it apparently meaningless to Foley. Now, six weeks before the election, all the ground we made up in the last 30 days is shot to heck. Makes me so mad...

I know. I was thinking about that too. It made me very angry that we can lose the house because of one guy's need to be a sexual predator. All Congressmen and Senators need to have complete background checks. AND I MEAN COMPLETE ONES before they serve public office.

I PREDICT THE BIGGEST BACKLASH AGAINST THE LIBERAL DEMS OVER THE FOLEY PERSECUTION!

I KNOW I WAS NOT GOING TO SEND ANY MONEY TO THE REPUBLICANS OVER THEIR SPENDING.

I WAS NOT GOING TO VOTE IN NOVEMBER OVER THE REPUBLICANS FAILURE TO SECURE OUR BORDER.

YESTERDAY, I SENT $500.00 DOLLARS TO THE REPUBLICANS, AND I AM CERTAINLY GOING TO VOTE IN NOVEMBER, AND I WON'T BE VOTING FOR THE DUMMYCRATS!

Don't get me wrong Foley should have resigned and if illegalities have been committed, let the judical system deal with him.

But what does George Stephanopoulos know and when did he it....

We want him to resign! Oops, I forgot he is one of the anointed class, we can't do that....

I wan't the head of ABC to resign, Oops we can't ask for that either.....

IF this is true this person has caused much of this $%!+ storm will be just like Richard Armitage and will also get away scott free..

LOL...A few days ago my wife got the usual call for money and we have not been very receptive to the Pubies the past year. My wife listened to the kid and he asked her for $75 and wife #1 said make it $150. She said the phone went silent for a couple of seconds. I don't think that happens to them to often...

IMHO the Dims cooked this Foleygate b.s. up to divert attention away from the Clinton/Wallace and ABC Path to9-11 fiascos. The heat was getting too hot. The right people were starting to snoop around again. We should not let Clinton and 9-11 get swept under the rug so quickly.

I have heard this from so many people who really did not pay that much attention to elections and politics before the Foley revelation.

I very good friend of mine who has never voted in his life, just went down and got registered to vote, and he is voting for the Republicans based sole on the way the Dummycrats are handling the Foley fiasco.

It will be difficult for the Rats to attack Foley without bringing attention to the homosexual-as-pediphile angle in this issue - which might annoy certain democrat constituencies who approve of the practice.
