Democrats are moving in for the kill. American Family Voices, a 527 run by ex-Clinton aide Mike Lux, is sending recorded telephone calls to hundreds of thousands of undecided voters in 50 congressional districts across the country.
This is a message from America Family Voices. Congressional Republican leaders including speaker Dennis Hastert covered up for a child sexual predator. Congressman Mark Foley was shielded by Republican leaders for at least 9 months after they knew Foley was trying to seduce a 16 year-old boy, a congressional page. ABC News reported that senior Republican staffers were warning pages about Foley since 2001. Call Congressman Rob Simmons at 860-886-0139 and demand he stop the cover-up. The answer is arrests, resignations and a new congressional leadership. Go to www.... to sign our petition.

It's amazing! The Democratic Party which has no plan for America is going to ride this to the polls. I hope the Silent Majority makes this go off like a nuke into their faces come the day after election day.

we (my husband actually answered the phone) received our call yesterday at 5:30 eastern time... i knew it had to be interesting as he didn't hang up immediately... as i didn't hear the call, i can't speak for the content except to say it's "blame the republicans for foley" in nature...
I received one of these calls yesterday. I'm in Brian Bilbray's district.
It's truly ironic that the party of William Jefferson Clinton and Ted "The Swimmer" Kennedy is ready to lecture anybody about morality. The hypocrisy is almost unbelievable.
Sad part is they couldn't care less about the unfortunate 16-year-old victim in this case. All the Rats can think to do is try to take political advantage of him.

FYI, you may have heard this, but Selena Zito with the Pittsburgh Tribune Review (I’m pretty sure that’s right) called in on a local (Birmingham,Alabama) talk radio program this morning. She said a major story might
break today that a high ranking Democrat knew about the Foley matter and she hinted there was coordination with ABC, probably through George Stephanopoulos to release the story. (Not taking away from what a disgusting creep Foley is, but considering the reaction by the Dems to the
story, this would look pretty bad for them IMO). Zito said she had a few more facts to verify, she does not want to report anything until she’s absolutely certain.
She also said other “outings” would most likely occur before the election
and would further hurt the Republicans although she said Democrats would
probably be affected as well.
I’m paraphrasing what she said, this is basically the gist of it. When the
talk radio host asked when this might come out, she said he would be her
second phone call.

Go out and tell your friends and family what they are doing and get them to the polls to vote Republican.
Let them waste resources with these calls while we recruit groundpower.

This is so vague as to be inscrutable..
They are scum, but so is Foley. He may cost the GOP the House. What a sicko, and what a backstab to us, the voters. Even if he was set up, as Rush seems to believe, he didn't have to take the bait.
Just wondering. Under McCain/Feingold legislation, can the 527s do this 30 days prior to an election or is it okay until the election if they do not mention any candiate names? If 527s are prohibited from things like this, they would only have a very short window before that 30 days is upon us.
