Well, it's simple. Until they passed that bill, I was seriously considering staying home on Nov 7. After they passed it, I decided to vote.
What that in turn means is that the fact the Dims have not only overplayed their hand on Foley, but they're dealing off the bottom of the deck, isn't the impetus for me to change my mind. I did it on principle, not political manuevering.
I'll be honest: if they had NOT passed the fence bill, the Dims would've pushed me into changing my mind, and violating my border security principles, because of their corrupt tactics.

WASHINGTON - November 5 - This week marks one year from the 2004 elections and American Family Voices (AFV), an organization focused on providing a strong voice for middle and low income families on economic, health care, and consumer issues, with bushrecall.org have launched an outreach campaign to highlight the Bush administration and the Republican Congressional track record of questionable results.
Today, AFV launched 'Daily Reality Check', which will be a daily column exposing the weaknesses of the Bush administration. This column, which will track daily Bush follies, lies, and scandals will be posted on all of the websites on bushrecall.org and www.americanfamilyvoices.org and will be sent out to over 60,000 Americans.
“American Family Voices will be a voice for thousands of disenfranchised voters and constituents who want this nation’s leadership to address their most basic concerns and needs,” Mike Lux, President of American Family Voices said today.

This might not be as bad as it seems. I believe, if the Republicans go for it, they can turn this around on the Democrats. The Democrats have laid a trap for themselves that could be interpreted that they object to gays in the House. That is supported by their rage. Also the most important aspect is who knew about the IMs and held them from the Speaker. Actually enough is known now that the actuation could be made by the Republicans that the MSM that a few Democrats held up the information and we are not wrong. We could go with this now and not get hurt. Don't wait until the investigation. Hit them hard that they knew and by not informing the Speaker they were endangering the underage pages.
