TURNOUT TURNOUT TURNOUT!!!! GOTV!!! $$$$$$$ $$$$$
I truly believe that this smear campaign against Haesert will fire up the base similar to the DEMS of 1998 when Clinton was against the wall. In 1998 all the pundits like Charlie Cook said the Lewinsky scandal would result into a 30 seat pickup for the GOP. Well they lost 5 seats. THE GOP base will protect the Speaker.

Rah,Rah. Sis boom bah.
Hope you're right, but I'm a realist and not a cheerleader.
I am praying the Republicans don't lose the House. The Senate is mostly a bunch of RINOs anyway. Wouldn't make much difference.
But if the House is lost, better start those Spanish lessons. Vote!

Seems a smart political ad would be to display individual pictures of Democrat perverts with the truth printed over the picture. For example, picture of Ted Kennedy with the following words:
Senator Kennedy, despite the suspicious death of his paramour, still serves Massachusetts in the Senate. I'm not talented enough to post script over the picture.

Well stated, Pukin. We need to get our tails out of the dirt and realize that we hold our future in our hands and only we can throw it away.
It has been amazing to listen to the Socialists rant and rave, criticizing the Administration and the Republican Party, but never once offer any substantive solution or alternative plan.
They are a Potemkin Village.

"The Senate is mostly a bunch of RINOs anyway. Wouldn't make much difference."Whoa, buddy! I figure there will be two more supreme court justices folding their tents before 2008. You really want a Socialist-controlled Senate to handle that?
Think again!

I know all that, but when it comes to voting your conscience, a party with a guy sitting on the protect-the-kids committee who is sending obscene messages to kids is not going to inspire a vote for Republicans. You see, this Foley thing chisels away at the moral high ground we hold that middle-America conscience voters turn out to support in elections.

Pukin',
I agree with your conclusion. And I wrote about the Foley phase of the Democrat plans, today. Good statement, my friend.

Jez, you are not seeing the big picture. One gay republican does not make a House. Christian voters by election day will be more concerned with the attacks on Haesert than Foley.
In 2004 Ed Schrock(R-VA) a big religious zealot was busted cheating on his wife with a male lover. What did the Christian voters do in his district after he resigned? They elected Thelma Drake with a 10% win.
