Last night, ABC News investigative journalist Brian Ross suggested "there may be other members of Congress who engaged in inappropriate behavior towards congressional pages."
Said Ross, "Were hearing quite a bit from former pages. Theyre sending us all sorts of messages about possible other members."
Arkansaside is not a pretty thing. Someone has his computer password. Otherwise, they couldn't get access to his private files to copy them for the press.
I have wondered from the beginning what other "warnings" the pages were given.
There's no way in hell a 16-17 year old kid should be working in this type of environment in Washington -- where f#cked-up people with serious personality disorders are considered "normal" and where criminal behavior of all kinds is not only tolerated, but celebrated.
And I question the sanity of any parent who allows a 16-17 year old kid to move away from home to go work in a place where f#cked-up people with serious personality disorders are considered "normal" and where criminal behavior of all kinds is not only tolerated, but celebrated.
However, he license to appear before the US Supreme Court was revoked.

Nevertheless, round up the usual suspects.
I totally agree. Everyone should be at least 18. The AGE OF CONSENT IS 16 in Washington D.C. and I still say it should be changed to 18 at least. 16 is still a child as far as I'm concerned.
Melanie Sloan is a liar. She knows darn well about Gerry Studds.
******
Prior to starting sCREW, she (Sloan) served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia, where, from 1998-2003, she successfully tried cases before dozens of judges and juries. Before becoming a prosecutor, Ms. Sloan served as Minority Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, working for Ranking Member John Conyers (D-MI) and specializing in crime issues.
In 1994, Ms. Sloan served as Counsel for the Crime Subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee, chaired by then-Representative Charles Schumer (D-NY).

Gerry Eastman Studds (born May 12, 1937) is a retired American politician, born in Mineola, New York. He served as a Democratic Congressman for Massachusetts from 1973 until 1996. He was the first openly homosexual member of the U.S. Congress and, more generally, the first openly gay national politician in the U.S.
Congressional page sex scandal
Studds is remembered chiefly for his role in the Congressional page sex scandal in 1983, when he and Representative Dan Crane were censured by the House of Representatives for separate sexual relationships with a minor in Studds's case, a 1973 relationship with a 17-year-old male congressional page.
During the course of the House Ethics Committee's investigation, Studds publicly acknowledged his homosexuality, a disclosure that, according to a Washington Post article, "apparently was not news to many of his constituents." Studds stated in an address to the House, "It is not a simple task for any of us to meet adequately the obligations of either public or private life, let alone both, but these challenges are made substantially more complex when one is, as I am, both an elected public official and gay."
As the House read their censure of him, Studds turned his back and ignored them. Later, at a press conference with the former page standing beside him, the two stated that what had happened between them was nobody's business but their own.

I doubt it.

EVERYONE!!!!
THE WORD ON THE STREET IS THAT A PROMINENT DEM CONGREESMAN HANDED THE FOLEY EMAILS TO THE MYDD.COM SITE WHICH PASSED IT ON TO ABC NEWS!!!! LOOK FOR FBI SUPEONAS
OOOOOH Where did you hear this?
That's a pretty safe guess.
Mikulski is about as out as you can get without being "out." The reaction would be a collective "eh..."
No way they go after her. She's 1) the wrong party and 2) not running this cycle. It's definitely a Republican.
(By the way, that guy's blog freaked me out. You could feel the anger radiating off the screen...)
There is some irony in the Republican Party being brought DOWN by a homo. He would have been considered a lift UP for the DEMS. He was in the wrong party. Most unfortunate.
Its not that he was gay that is sooo horrible (although it does give me the creeps to think about it and I wish they were not in Congress AT ALL). I'm sure there are many more gay congress critters we don't know about who are even married as a cover-up. It's the disgusting sleezy act of going after young boys that is disgusting and should be investigated.
Larry Flynt rides again!
Well, well, well!
What a surprise. /sarcasm!!!
Yup. He's just the sleezeball to put out the money for this sort of thing!
[The Leftists always say he is "light in the loafers"]
Some of us Conservatives here in SC believe the same thing.
