Good. I heard about some testing on Nimitz class.

I have a good friend (Navy rotary; I was Army) who said the MK 15 Phalanx was a known bad joke because it was always broken --- no parts, hydraulic leaks, etc.

The Phalynx is slowly being replaced by RIM-116 RAM launchers which have amassed a sterling record of intercepts of incoming, high speed ASMs. New carriers are toating 2 RAM launchers (21 missiles each), 2 Sea Sparrow launchers (8 missiles each), and still 3 phalynx.

Also has a nasty habit of shooting at low flying missiles' radar reflection off the water instead of the real target.
