Reactionaries. Reading the IMs is sickening, so they forget about the fact that the emails were basically inoccuous and that's all that the Speaker saw. The FBI saw the emails and concluded the same thing. Ditto for the parents.

Not strange at all, once you consider it's run by Moonies. Homosexuality is anathema to them. They would rather turn the country over to the communists they fear than have a sodomite within three degrees of separation from any public office, down to assistant dog catcher.

But we shouldn't judge them too harshly: there are plenty of Freepers who fit that description, too.
