wasn't term limits the only one of the 10 points on Newt's "Contract With America" that passed but was overturned by the SCOTUS ?

The Republican leadership is not corrupt, in fact far from it. You do not smear a whole party for the despicable behavior of one person, enough with this holier than you crap.

No,,, Im just laughing because Republicans try to play to appease democrats and they just get burned. A republican party that isnt moving forward, taking prisoners and passing conservative legislation is worthless.

So Hastert wants to clean his own house and the demonrats don't want him to lead the investigation...

1)am thinking either the demonrats were involved with their own email abuses, as the investigation could range into all senatorial emails...

2)or the demonrats knew about Foley's email abuses, but kept it quiet until right before the elections, even from Republican eyes...thus the demonrats are more to blame then the Republicans, who are acting on the info straight away, instead of trying to use it for political gain, like the demonrats.

Am thinking scenario #2 is the most likely.

The only reason they pull this crap is because the Republicans always cave.
Foley has royally screwed the party and Rove had better have a Bin-Laden up his sleeve if he plans on saving the majority at this point.
Something smells REALLY bad in regards to the leaking of these IM's and WHO possessed them. Hastert had better hang tough and wait this out because the Dems are overplaying their hand. Their malfeasance will never be exposed if he allows himself to become the fall guy here.

And very few conservatives do read them. If not for FR this newspaper is a known as a local small town newspaper.

Their most famous journalist Bill Sammon left them a while ago because I do not think he likes what is going on in this newspaper anymore, they may have very well joined the liberal cocktail party circle and that is the end of them.

Tony Blankley gets a check from CNN....I stopped paying attention to him..when he joined the Situation group...ugh.

When the Washington Times let Bill Sammon go...I lost most of my interest in them.

Dennis Hastert has ASKED for a complete investigation..I am sure if that investigation shows that he knew more than we know right now....he will leave on his own...just like other GOP congresscritters do.

The GOP can start firing back whenever it is convenient for them. The DNC girlmen and bimbos are kicking their GOP butts. Hint to the GOP: Not one of the DemocRATS wears a halo.

Everything the RATS do backfires on them, lets see how this plays out.

Drudge is getting ridiculous with his sensational titles for the last couple of weeks.

He's just ticked that Foley dropped him off his mailing list.
