"...were very tame in comparison."

But, still very creepy and not 'cool'.

I've come to the point where I'm wanting the 'RATS to take over the House and Senate in November just so they can get their "Fairness" Doctrine passed and shut up morons like Mike Reagan, the poster boy for little molested boys and Sean Hannity who is so "fair and balanced" that he picks fights with Liberals who accuse him of not trashing Republicans enough on his show. Oh yeah. And people are always picking on him and calling him names and won't let him play in the reindeer games. From what I heard from Hannity and Reagan today, they want all the Republicans in Congress to resign. Great. Who needs the alphabets when we have these two pixies bashing Republicans. I'm fed up.

IIRC, the name is Mike Rogers. DCCC knew about them. Hopefully the FBI will look at them Hastert did the right thing by asking to look for all who knew what when.

Hmmm. Why can't he lead like he coached?

What's Michael Reagan's problem? Did he fly off the handle before checking his facts?

The behavior is unacceptable. Foley should have resigned and clinton too.

But Bossie's claim that Hastert "sacrificed the child" ignores the fact the the 16 year-old encouraged the behavior...as if he were the picture of innocence.

That is what Hastert said. He knew about the emails. Someone (in leadership) asked if they were sexual, was told NO )they weren't). They were creepy to me cause I knew Foley was gay and a Congressman...

Yeah...and Beckell is saying that since Foley was Gay, any emails to Pages should've been suspicious. This is going to be interesting as some Dems are going to be put in the position of associating homosexuality with pedophilia...something their constituency isn't going to like.

To Beckell's credit he did bring up Stubbs who did NOT resign.

"intentionally setting a trap to nail Foley"

Foley was nailed alright. Maybe not the way he wanted, but nailed.

That's what my lib friends say about BJ Clinton and Monica.

This is apples and oranges. Monica was a federal employee and the most powerful man in the country was using her for sexual favors and then rewarding her for them.

He also signed a bill outlawing sexual harassment in the workplace, which the liberals hailed him for, and then he proceeds to sexually exploit a federal employee. Whether she was willing or not, it was a crime, and he, of all people, KNEW that.

You are correct. It is Bossie who is falsely implicating Hastert.

Reagan does not mention him.

He can't lead like he coached because the kids would do what he asked. "Republican Leader" is akin to a cat herder in a burning building.

While I won't associate myself with some of the remarks on this thread, I will say this: Never having been a huge Hastert fan, to say the least, in this case it appears that he is getting a bum rap. Big time.

I like Reagan and Bossie, but they're jumping the gun REAL bad.

There is only one possible winner of any if this, and that is Nancy Pelosi. And the country will be the loser if Republicans don't get a handle on this real fast.

No flame here, but there has been some stellar legislation passed in Congress. Much of it blocked in the Senate. As bad as the Senate is today, dim leadership would be exponentially worse.

Point taken, but remember much was passed when we had DeLay (who was a real leader).
