There is a line in the song "If I Were a Rich Man" from "Fiddler on the Roof" that seems appropriate here:

First, the comment is sexist - not all women are loopy liberals. Second, if military budgets are slashed, the extra money will have to be used to buy burka's for the country's women -- required dress in Muslim fundamentalist cultures...
