Foly is lecherous homosexual pervert.

"Foly is lecherous homosexual pervert." No, you're just "homophobic". /s

I'm not condoning Foley's behavior, but I want to know why Barney Frank is still in office. His boyfriend was running an escort service out of his (Barney's) home!

Save them to a text file.

Because Republicans have higher standards than Rats.
Please, no more Barney Frank comparisons.
To: kellynch
Totally different standards between dems and Republicans my friend.

So this could just be another Bill Burkett? A memo "typed from memory"? There is no way to know who this page is talking to? How do we tie this to Foley other then the page's claim it is him?

It's telling that republicans will clean out the trash when it's discovered vs. the dems actions of just putting lipstick on a pig.

Curious. How do we KNOW this is accurate? How do you record Instant Messages? We don't. The only thing that can be tied to him is completely innocent. It's ridiculous that he's stepping down over this. The media is just making a big deal over nothing.

Do you understand what an instant messenger is? You're giving me the impression that you think it's some type of phone recording.
To: Rb ver. 2.0
Why would someone do that?

"It's ridiculous that he's stepping down over this"Unless it's true; if this is an accurate transcript, he should resign.
Plus, he's illiterate...

Yeah, sure, targeting a child -and no, I don't care what D.C. laws state, 16 is NOT an adult- for sex when our government officials are supposed to PROTECT these pages welfare is surely nothing. [s]
Foley stepped down. That ought to give you the clue you need this is accurate. If it wasn't there would be denials. NONE have come from his quarters. Any person with a hint of moral conscience would be disgusted for being labeled a pedophile and denounce it vehemently, if untrue.
Don't even try to protect that disgrace.

Why would someone do that?
Lots of people do, for lots of reasons. For example, my kids save a lot of their chats with their friends, because there's usually stuff in there they want to remember.
