At this point, I have no idea what the GOP leadership knew and when they knew it. We cannot count on the MSM to tell this story straight.

Quite frankly, it will be difficult to separate lack of awareness of the problems with Foley from plausible deniability set up by having staffers deal with the issue under the radar. But sooner or later the truth will come out.

Until then, I will withhold judgement. But when the truth does come out, the judgement should be severe, the political consequences be damned.
