I hope you take the time to "smell the roses", give others a chance to extend love toward you and TAKE the time to extend a hand to others.
Life is precious, I'm sure you know that...I'm so glad you've got extra time to be with YOUR loved ones.
Congratulations on the good news!!!! I'm very happy for you!

Deu 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Will continue to keep you in prayers. (BTW took my dad to see "W" today. What an unlifting experience!)
Rest assured, many of us are praying for you and hoping for a good outcome for you.
God Bless you. Prayers continue.
thanks for the update prayers sent
God can do anything, CT. Prayers still up for you.
As always, you are in my prayers. May God lead you to the place where you can receive the best treatment. May He bless and guide the hands that will care for you, and continue to strengthen your body and your faith during this trying time.
So glad to hear the good PET scan results. Will pray that any follow up treatment you choose brings the very best results. Prayers will continue for your recovery.
Prayers continue CT. Will be thinking and praying for a right decision on Monday.
Good luck, Common Tator. Beating the odds seems to be your best game.
If the cytology report confirms the lesion was the same cell type as the lung cancer, there is a good chance the chemo will work again. The downside risk is whether the chemo can achieve satisfactory concentration levels in the brain vs your previous situation in the lungs. Run that question by your doctor. Good luck!
Tough stuff you are dealing with...you have my prayers for the best possible news on Monday.
Prayers for you Common
Carolyn
P.S. You may know already that I've been diagnosed with lung cancer for the second time also. I am currently undergoing treatment in a clinical trial. I agree that radiation mostly does more harm than good, as it kills the tissues around the target site.
But even regular chemo can cause a condition known as "chemo brain" which is neurocognitive dysfunction. I pray that you find peace and comfort, whatever your decision. God bless--
Praying for you Tator. And you know I don't think you're a COMMON Tator at all ~ you're a SPECIAL Tator!! ;-) *HUG*
Our continued prayers are with you in this time of decision. Get that second, or even a third opinion, from someone you trust, about chemo versus radiation. They can do incredible things with chemo now that they couldn't do before.
God bless you.
Please keep up posted, as you have been, FRiend. My prayers are with you, too - to the God of Our Salvation!
Prayers going up for you right now, CT.
God bless you. Prayers continued.
