I saw this former page on Fox this morning. Scumbag foley was doing this under the radar with his contacting former pages after they left DC and also using his own personal AOL account.

I wonder if they knew "maf54" was Foley or are they just now putting 2 + 2 together.
It's also possible that some disturbing messages were from some run of the mill creep totally unrelated to Foley. Unfortunately online predators are becoming common.

What title is it that the English books say should precede a letter to a congressman--is it "The Honorable" (Mark Foley) w/ his hill address?
How about "The Chicken-Loving MF"...........

Former page: We knew about Foley 'for years'Very timely release of this info that was known for years - 5 weeks before an election!!!!
Once again, the democrats are hedging their bets on rumor and innuendo instead of issues!

I certainly didn't know that it was this bad with Foley, but the rumors have been out there for a long time. So I guess I knew too. Censure me!

I would be surprised if the FBI doesn't raid Foley's home in the next couple of days, to seize his computer to see how much kiddie porn that sicko has on it. He's going to prison, and rightfully so. I just wish the Republican leaders had handled this differently. It looks like they were trying to cover for Foley, and you know that's exactly how the RATS are going to play it out in the media.

The Republican party had to know about this and yet let this sexual deviant cover it up.
And, what percentage of homosexual congressman have been involved in some sort of sex scandal? This is at least the second one caught soliciting or having sex with minors.
To: Dane
The page program is a good program BS. Our system is broken, and it is in need of severe changes. The number one job of the Congress, is to balance the Judicial and Executive. The USSC invents law by declaring that the Geneva Convention says things they want it to say. They invent a "right to privacy", they turn "eminent domain" on its ear, and Congress acts like the puppet, not the puppet master.
They worry about power and prestige, not duty. Part of that is the personal power they can employ against the obscene numbers of assistants and "underlings".

Here is the most important line in this piece in regards to the dems attempt to take out the entire Republican party with this scandal:
"Loraditch said his friends all thought the messages were disturbing, but they did not report them, either because they did not think the messages posed a serious threat or because they might have worried about career consequences."
Now how was the GOP leadership to know about the sexually IM's if these boys never reported it?
To: Dane
It's pretty unlikely the democrats were unaware and they should be held accountable as well. After all, do they care about kids or do they care more about making it an election issue?

I despise him for what he's done...BUT, how dare the 'Rats complain about him hitting on pages, while Clinton hitting on interns was supposedly "his private sex life"? Moreover, the 'Rats push the homosexual agenda every chance they get, and grown men seducing young boys is PART of that agenda. Please don't mistake this comment for condoning what Foley did--but the hypocrisy is just astounding.
