"That said - the Dims either had their Oct 'surprise come out early or have something even worse in store. Let's just hope the Pubbies have even a better surprise in store next month."
Not sure there has ever been a planned GOP 'October Surprise'. Think about it for a minute.............(I am giving you a minute...........lol)
Most of our OCTOBER SURPRISES have really come at the hands of the DIMWITS 'September Follies'!!
You have a good point there!
BTW - I've been checking to see if there was an after action report of the Boot Murtha Rally. Sounds like it was a sucess - -they even had Todd Beamer's father!:

This is Linda Eddy, webmaster for BootMurtha.com. I just heard from the Boot Murtha Rally. It just finished and WE HAD A FABULOUS RALLY -- MORE turned out for our rally today than turned out for Murtha's rally yesterday. !!!
Take THAT, Murtha and Max Cleland!!! (Yes, OURS was BIGGER than HIS)
I just spoke with COOP He says to tell all of you on FreeRepublic, "You shoulda come, so stop your whining!!!" Yep, that's our cuddly-guy Coop!!
I also spoke with CONCRETEBOB who says the rally was "GREAT!".
More reports to come as I get 'em....-Linda/IPWGOP

I just got back from the rally, and yes, we did have a glorious day. Much better than the wet one the Murthapalooza had yesterday!
It was an excellent rally. Hard to guess-timate how many people were there, but I would say at least 300-400 (conservatively). The speakers were all wonderful and very moving, particularly John Wrobleski, who lost his son in Iraq. Gregg Garvey, another Gold Star Father also spoke, along with Earl Johnson and Todd Beamer's father David.
When we arrived, there was a small cluster of moonbats across the street with their "We've got your back, Jack" and "Bush Lied" sign. One idiot was dressed up as the grim reaper. They got into a shouting match with some of our vets in front of the War Memorial, and one moonbat even crossed over and got into an altercation with some of our folks when we suggested he stay on his side of the street.
Other than that, very peaceful. I'll try to have pictures up tonight or tomorrow.
