I also find it interesting that the Administration doesn't mention that our casualties [dead and wounded] have been declining in Iraq over the past three years and that twice as many Iraqi military and police have died than Americans.

American casualties

2004

Dead: 848--Wounded: 7997

2005

Dead: 846--Wounded: 5946

2006 through September

Dead: 533--Wounded: 3559

Total Iraqi Military/Police deaths: 5466

We are winning in Iraq. I don't understand why the WH doesn't do more in making this information public. The Iraqis are fighting and dying for their country and deserve our support. Our declining casualties are a partial reflection of the fact that the Iraqis are shouldering more and more of the load in defending their country.

You are absolutely correct kabar, and I think most conservatives are aware of this.

Iraqi's are showing great courage, indeed sacrificing their lives on a daily basis, to try to secure their country.

That is a fabulous story, but to get GWB, the MSM cannot let that be echoed.
