snugs you are so right in this post...but his job as COS is to present all options to the President good or bad...Card is still smarting from the perception by many that the President was in a bubble and following that theory then Card wasn't presenting all options to the President..whatever he said to Woodward might have been an attempt to show he was doing that part of his job....just my thoughts
Do you mean the character or the actor? The actor had children IIRC.
perception jveritas....remember to some that is reality...right or wrong that's how some think
I normally think of text messaging as mobile to mobile (cell) rather than instant message (MSN) and I suspect most people do as certainly in Britain it is referred to as "texting".
"If they win over BS like this, I REALLY fear for what will happen to this country, and it will happen FAST...."
That is my fear as well and why we need to fight back hard on this latest obfuscation by the media and dems. It is probably hopeless though.......(getting discouraged)
thanks for this post as I didn't watch the MSNBC interview as I'm getting ready for work....this is a 7 day work week for me
He's one sickO. For sure.
I am sure this was not intentional on Card's part, but everyone in this Admin should realize that Woodward et al are not their friends and should NEVER confide in them...this has come back to bite them big time....
I agree with your "if" questions. Also, Card's job was to protect the President and IF he thought it would have helped Bush to get rid of Rumsfeld, he was right to say something. And IF President Bush disagreed, he make the right decision to keep Rummy in place. Personally, I don't have a problem with any of this and keeping Secretary Rumsfeld in place has proved to be a good decision and he's done an outstanding job, IMHO.
I would also add I've had spirited debates and disagreements with every relative and friend at one time or another. So what?
"all the Dems are going to do is hurt themselves with their homosexual base"
Are you KIDDING? The Homo Base is jumping for JOY over this!

As a Type A myself, I can see it all now! LOLOL.....oh boy!!
I have no clue. I have not as yet bought a cell phone. I am so behind. But I resent answering my home phone, why do I want to carry one with me?
Guess Card is miffed at being replaced!
lol...there are type A women in this administration too...
LOL....Card throwing Laura under the bus!!!
You had to go and bring in those stinkin' crab people. ;o)
