Just think, that by voting for Arnold, you are preventing a stark raving mad REAL socialist leftist who will demolish everthing dear to you, from becoming governor of CA.
Angelides is as left as they come. He and the leftist Legislature would destroy CA for sure.
Arnold vetoed almost a third of the the Dems bills.

It's the CA Legislature that we need to worry about.
Without Arnold to veto at least some of the worst bills, they will pass and Angelides will sign all of the worst bills, including universal healthcare.
That's what you said three years ago, before the biggest deficit in history, before the unconstitutional borrowing, before the Sierra Nevada land grab, before the Global Warming nonsense, before the billions in stem-cell research, solar roofs, hydrogen highways.... Yep... Save me from the socialists!
Arnold vetoed almost a third of the the Dems bills.
LOL. Which means he approved 2/3 of the Dem bills! Arnold signed almost half (6 out of 13) of the Chamber of Commerce "job killer" bills. He wasn't even loyal to them! He did however sign 100% of the Sierra Club's top 2006 legislative priorities and 80% of the Homosexual legislation sponsored by Equality California.
Are you saying that it would have been better if Bustamante had won?
Bustamante Shmustabante! blah, blah, blah.
At that time the choice was Bustamante or Arnold. NOw the choice is Angelides or Arnold.
It seems you wanted Bushtamante then and are still lamenting that he lost and want Angelides now.
No... he didn't.
We now have (in SB 1441) a mandated restriction of free speech in ALL state-affiliated organizations, including colleges who receive CalGrants and pre-schools who receive State education assistance funds (CalWorks) for any of their students.
Did you READ the actual text of SB1441?
"SECTION 1. Section 11135 of the Government Code is amended to
read:
11135. (a) No person in the State of California shall, on the
basis of race, national origin, ethnic group identification,
religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, color, or disability, be
unlawfully denied full and equal access to the benefits of, or be
unlawfully subjected to discrimination under, any program or activity
that is conducted, operated, or administered by the state or by any
state agency, is funded directly by the state, or receives any
financial assistance from the state. Notwithstanding Section 11000,
this section applies to the California State University."
As I said, he vetoed the really important once, that would have taught all about homosexuals in schools. SB1441 is fairly innocuous, just added sexual orientation to the list of things state agencies and state funded organizations shouldn't discriminate against.
(SMACKING FOREHEAD)... You are purposefully forgetting that we had a perfectly sound conservative Republican in Tom McClintock and the California GOP blew it BIG TIME!
Bustamente was NEVER an option for California Conservatives, but McClintock WAS! You blew it! You blew it! You blew it! and now you're pretending that you had no option!
I will NOT reward my party for abandonning their principles and the candiaten who best represented them in favor of a Hollywood actor who they thought could get them some good PR. Arnold is NO REAGAN! You were DUPED by the RINO of all RINO's!
I can read... can you read between the lines?
There is no "between the lines". It's very clear and very limited.
As I said, the really bad ones where the other 3-4 he VETOED.
And, as I said, Angelides will sign them all, if he becomes governor.
If you stay home and don't get out and vote FOR Arnold, you are enabling Angelides and the leftist CA legislature to really promote the homosexual agenda you claim to be against. Look in the mirror and you'll see a potential promoter of the homosexual agenda, higher taxes, universal healthcare and so on.
You're digging it deep, FairOpinion... you must know that McClintock is groomed for Gov by the CaGOP in 2010.
To equate him to Perot is more the politically ridiculous. Your suggesting that all of us who voted for the only conservative candidate in the last election were equivalent to the Clinton electors... except that 62.1% of this State voted for a republican in the recall election.
13.5% of us voted our conscience, instead of voting what the media and the power-brokers were telling us to vote.
If everyone who believed that McClintock was the best Candidate in 2003 would have actually voted for him, instead of sheepishly and fearfully voting for the RINO actor, we would actually have a conservative in the Gov's office.
Oops.
"you must know that McClintock is groomed for Gov by the CaGOP in 2010."
===
And what do you think his chances would be against sitting governor Angelides, after he spends 4 useless years either as Angelides' Lt Gov, where they probably won't even give him the keys to his office, or being put out to pasture, because he loses to Garamendi?
McClintock's best shot IS if Arnold gets elected, and pulls McC in with him, then he can use his position as springboard in 2010.
So, let me repeat again, those who keep trying to get Arnold defeated and Angelides elected are NO CONSERVATIVES. PERIOD.
Yes but he is caving on things he has no reason to cave on. Sure he vetoed the Gay Marriage bill but he lets all kinds of crap "anti-discrimination" bull that lays an inevitable foundation for producing the same result incrementally. I thought Arnold was a great alternative to Davis but California is still slipping off the political landscape.
Your term just got mentioned in a World Net Daily article... twice! With a link back to this FR thread.
