Michael Polt is perhaps the worst Ambassador on Condy's roster. He is bluntly anti-Serbian and does not miss an opportunity to demonstrate this.
For example, in a visit to Podgorica scout camp where this photo was taken, he engaged in political talk with children that would constitue as a criminal offense in The United States, because he insulted children on a racial basis.
Because Polt is a career diplomat, it is not likely that he voices his personal opinions. He voices the official American policy toward Serbia, albeit in a very non-diplomatic way. Probably he is not the sharpest tool in a drawer.
Polt is showing DoS true colors to Serbs. It is useful for Serbs but embarrasing for the United States. People like Polt should have no place in diplomatic service.
What did he say?
