To: what's up
I wouldn't label the news source of this article as MSM, but a source with a tainted purpose. To lump all MSM as siding against our cause is wrong. There are voices within MSM that are trying desperately to to keep our population informed of many events they see as counterproductive to the WOT. Consider for a moment:
It was MSM, not our politicians that informed us that:
The Pakistan government had made peace with the regions of Pakistan giving safe harbor to al Qaeda and the Taliban;
Pakistan had released al Qaeda and Taliban prisoners, which they claim number about 500-600, but our intelligence services claim to number up to 7,000;
Pakistan armed the prisoners as they were released;
Aired interviews of our military forces in Afghanistan stating the Pakistan regional peace combined with the prison release has made their task much more difficult and dangerous;
Reported our military is prohibited from pursuing al Qaeda and Taliban militants once they slip back over the Pakistan border with Afghanistan; Reported the extremists schools and training camps in Pakistan still flourish.
If not for MSM these news items might not be known at all because the White House sure isn't making them known, and they are all counterproductive to the stated goal of seeking out and killing our enemies wherever they may be. It could well be that some within MSM are trying to rally our population to hold the White House to their promises. There is a major threat to all western civilization, and someone needs to make this threat known to as much of our population as possible. The White House is not doing it. The alliance with Pakistan is a fraud.
To: backtothestreets
You just keep cheerleading for the MSM.
Sounds like that's just where you belong.
