Stop new taxes and veto the damn Illegal Alien D/L bill from One Bill Gil and he meets my minimum requirements.

Your wish has been granted. He vetoed the D/L bill yesterday, he cut the vehicle registration tax (when first elected) and no new taxes have been implemented.

I was retro-wishing.

He has done the minumum that we can ask.

The ignorance is so fundamental it is sublime.

By invalidating an executive order to abolish a General Fund subsidy of the VLF, Schwarzenegger was forced to circumvent constitutional protections in order to borrow the money to make up the $4B, annual shortfall.

The borrowing is costing the California taxpayers almost $30B over the next 12 years. That's $30B, with a B, in real money, owed to the Austrian's large campaign contributors from the New York area. The $15B to support the subsidy, has now wiped out any gain from the subsidy (just trading dollars for dollars) and the $15B in interest, increases California taxes by $1B a year. Net loss of $15B to California's tax payers.
