Hey this is nothing. Cox Hospital in Springfield MO has put a "taboo" on tobacco products on campus for everyone - staff and patients and visitors. You can't do any kind of tobacco - smoke or dip - on the property of Cox. Not outside. Not in the parking lot - nuttin. Doesn't bother me since I don't smoke but it kinda puts a crimp in hubbys Copenhaven use.
This is mind boggling.

aint it though?! I imagine that a lot of workers and patients will be moseying on over to St. Johns there in Springfield.
What a lot of anti-smokers don't get is that this is not about whether or not you can smoke, but that the government is taking away the rights of business owners to do what they legally want to do. I HATE the smell of smoke on someone but I certainly stand by their rights to do it. We do not go into a convenience store here because it stinks. They allow people to come and sit and do their scratch offs, drink coffee and smoke. Every coke or candy etc you buy there has the odor on it. It is one of the cheaper gas stores so we occasionally fill there but it is a quick in and out.
After they kill smokers rights they will be coming after something someone else does.

We are trying and trying to tell people to wake the heck up! The lawmakers have already started on obesity. And also going into schools and telling them what to serve the kids for lunch. Even the vending machines are being removed from schools. Where does it end?
