Can Jeb run in his spot? He doesn't have to live in the district, does he?

I remember when Mass. Dem Gary Studds was caught in a similar affair. He turned his back on Congress during the censure, and didn't have the decency to resign.

Has anyone else ever noticed how Republican politicians always resign in shame after they have done something shameful, and how Democrat politicians defiantly remain in office after they have done something shameful no matter what the cost to those around them?
Based upon this observation, the only conclusion I can come to is that Democrats have no shame.

I still don't get it, the little I have heard about the contents of the e-mails, I don't see anything damning.
What changed?

Wasn't there a Republican politician in Florida who had tried to dodge accusations that he was gay?
Not being from the area, all Congress critters start to look the same after awhile.

Foley came from a conservative district. He won with 68% of the vote in 2004.
The Pubbies can designate a replacement candidate although they can't replace his name on the ballot.
Make lemonade out of this lemon, by getting a replacement quick and then point out that a democrat barney frank has nor resigned even though a homosexual prostitution ring was run out of his house.

Just saw Hastert asked the question about Foley and there was pure disgust in his voice. Hastert said he did the right thing and he had not talked to Foley. (Neil Cauvato, although was not Neil but someone sitting in, I can't think of his name.)

What's Barney Franks position on this?
I afraid of the answer.

I thought Foley was smart....but sexually explicit emails to a kid like that...just TOO STUPID.

Three of the five emails have been released. I have a feeling ABC is sitting on the bombshells to drive interest in their news show tonight.
