Foley To Resign Over Sexually Explicit Messages to Minors (IM's now in addition to the emails)

Saying he was "deeply sorry," Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL) resigned from Congress today, hours after ABC News questioned him about sexually explicit internet messages with current and former congressional pages under the age of 18.
A spokesman for Foley, the chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children, said the congressman submitted his resignation in a letter late this afternoon to Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.

Whew, what a sick MF. I simply can't understand this perv crap going on in society. He better get locked up, so he can ponder his motives.
However, in the world of politics...had he been a Dem, well, then he could have asked for the definition of "minor", stated he was setup and actually got additional campaign contributions.

Too bad this came to light right before the election, but Republicans should purge any other Republican homosexuals from the Congress. ". . . the chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children . . ." WTH!!!!! Why is this man (in congress?) on a committe where the issues are exploited children? What is wrong with people like this? And how does the voting public wind up with such sick perverts working in positions where they have access to children? Burning him at the stake would not be sufficient punishment IMHO.
