And just how do YOU know what is going to be done?

Are you trolling FR from some war room or liberal newspaper?

And don't think that that hasn't happened before and that we don't know about such things.

Yeah, but you're not frying them, because Hastert says practically nothing and has stuff on his website that makes him look like he's ignoring the issue.

It's not even been 24 hours since Foley resigned .. nobody in DC works that fast .. especially on a weekend

Also makes you wonder if the rumors are true about him being gay/bisexual.

Right..........

Someone once showed me how to do it and the reason is kind of funny. Several years ago an employee used an office computer inappropriately, instant messaging along the lines of Foley. The employee didn't close out the IM window so it was discovered, reported it to me and then I had to go to HR and find out how to handle. I was instructed how to save it for disciplinary reasons.

You can save an IM while it is still on your screen. I forget if you have to copy and paste it, or if there's an option, but I've done it for one reason or another. Anyone in the chatroom would have that opportunity. I don't know how it works so far as going to "find" an old IM, do they really exist in cyberspace after everyone clicks out of it, I wonder?

I'll bet they were working on it even before ABC reported this story

Okay, reading that IF that is how it happened, that's believeable.

As for this:

At least four Republican House Members, one senior GOP aide and a former top officer of the House were aware of the allegations about Foley that prompted the initial reporting regarding his e-mail contacts with a 16-year-old House page. They include: Majority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Reynolds (N.Y.) and Reps. Rodney Alexander (R-La.) and John Shimkus (R-Ill.), as well as a senior aide to Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) and former Clerk of the House Jeff Trandahl.

UGH.

Were you expecting me to personally drive to DC? Did we know about Hastert before tonight? Tomorrow the phone lines will be burning. I sincerely doubt that updating his website is the first thing on his mind right now.

Hastert will give a full accounting or he will be pressured out within days. That is the way we work. Remember Livingston?

I can handle two subjects at once. So, did you give this same advice to the dems? You still vote for all those democrats who supported Clinton, don't you?

You seem obsessed with Foley being called a criminal.

Oh my goodness.

Since the ONLY two people I IM with are my daughter and my husband and that's at/from home, I have nothing whatsoever to worry about. I also always shut it off, when I'm finished talking. LOL

I just never even thought about saving any of IMs...which is why I guess I didn't know they could be saved. :-)

Well that let's me out..............I don't know how to CCP.

And why I would want to save an IM, is quite beyond me. LOL
