I guess this explains the unabated racial attacks on Senator George Allen. Webb knew this was coming down the pike and launched a pre-emptive strike.

Webb can't deny this the essence of this bumper sticker. The Bumper Sticker is courtesy of the great Rushbo and his golden EIB.

Webb obviously wants this position of power very badly and seems to have the liberal method of operation, do whatever it takes to get what he wants.
This whole mess is sickening and Webb has tainted his persona as a spoiled destructive two year old.
To: Flora McDonald
The important thing is that we're all focused on the real issues.

"Webb knew this was coming down the pike and launched a pre-emptive strike." That's what it looks like to me.

Me, too. I will be gone for a chunk of the day, today. Friday's are a good day for Rats dumping bad news, so ping me if anything develops, please!

Thought it a great slogan when Rush mentioned this. . .is this now actually a bumper sticker; have not gone to his sight lately. . .
OR. . .a 'replica' of what could be a bumper sticker ? :^)
. . .because I want one!

How much do you want to bet if this story goes further, and is proven right, the media will be stressing how Webb was a REPUBLICAN not long ago and that he served in the Reagan administration??
Hard to believe he would run for office knowing he had a secret this big to hide. But then maybe he figured the media and the Dems would cover for him as long as he was now one of them.

If you want to know what Democrats are doing, just listen to what they accuse the Republicans of doing.

You're giving liberals too much credit. Politicians are a generally scurvy lot regardless of ideology.

A pre-emtive strike was not enough . . .they make it worse; a genuine character assassination by lying/false embellisment and creating of 'facts'. (Surely the horse-head was something saved for one of Webb's books. . .as perhaps were some other 'recalled incidents'. . .
(I am particularly interested in the role Larry Sabato has played in all this. . .hope never to see him again on Fox News contributing his political analysis and 'wisdom'. . .)
But. . .alas, perhaps I am judging prematurely. . .

"Hard to believe he would run for office knowing he had a secret this big to hide." Not hard. The RATS are very weak on National security, so they are desparate for people with Webb's resume.

THOUGHTS:
--You suspect of others what you know to be true of yourself
---I went to Compton Jr. College, 1959-1961. If Webb said he did this, he is lying. There was overt resentment and hate for "Honkies". I drove through Watts one time in my 49 Ford. I was cursed, had bottles thrown at me, and was almost rammed by another car.

You are absolutely right about whites going to Watts in the 60's. If this is true then Webb was a fool. He is already a huge embarrassment to the NAVY!
To: Mr.Smorch
Now! this a bumper sticker that I might be willing to put on my car!

What a sad commentary on the state of retail politics at the federal level: a Senatorial election focused on what might have been said forty years ago. I guess there are no substantive issues facing this country in the near future.
