The San Francisco congresswoman probably would become the first female House speaker if Democrats picked up a net 15 seats on Nov. 7.
"Democrat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and 159 of her Democrat colleagues voted today in favor of more rights for terrorists,'' Hastert charged Wednesday night after the bill passed. "So the same terrorists who plan to harm innocent Americans and their freedom worldwide would be coddled if we followed the Democrat plan.''

This should be the Republican response:
We welcome the Democrats fasting and praying in the desert for America for 40 days. We invite them to join with us in sponsoring a bill that all of us in Washington will fast and pray in the desert for the next 40 days. What say you, Democrats?

Dem dims done got dat old time religion. At least, they are trying hard to convey that message.
If anything Pelosi will stir up the GOP for an election push more than the Democrats.
