For more than 26 years, Congressman John P. "Jack" Murtha (D-Penn.) has not been truthful about his involvement in Abscam, court records and the complete video of his meeting with the FBI show.
In recent years, only a 13-second video of Murtha's videotaped meeting with the FBI agents was publicly available. TAS has obtained a copy of the full, original video from

Been reading Charlie Wilson's War. Great that Wilson was the advocate for defeating the Russians in Afghanistan. But because he was a dem, you also learn how Tip O'Neal used Wilson to save Murtha's butt in Abscam.
And in the background you are witnessing Carter destroying the CIA, and the dems sabatoging the effort to stop the Sandanistas. Little tidbits like Tip's daughter working directly with the Sandanistas in Nicaragua. The democrats are and have been a filthy corrupt disaster for decades.

Great news, IT. I think the other networks might have a hard time ignoring this one. I suspect if ABCNNBCBS covers it at all, they'll use a "Republican dirty trick" angle, like they tried to do with the Swift Vets.
