TUSCALOOSA | The man who shot and killed a would-be robber late last year now faces federal allegations of illegally sending money out of the country.

Jack Mohamed S. Mused was arrested Thursday on charges of operating an unlicensed money transmitting business, conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business and trafficking counterfeit goods.

Mused, 29, was taken into custody about 8 a.m. today at his place of business, the Raceway convenience store on McFarland Boulevard, authorities said.

Members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Joint Terrorism Task Force arrested him, but details regarding what he did to justify the charges are vague.

"Mused’s case originates out of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Monroe, La., which is near where several of the remaining potential suspects reside."

A cell perhaps?

No, I don't live in Geiger, I chose Emily Geiger as my screen name because she was a Southern lady who helped the Revolutionary Army by transmitting messages, spying on the Brits. :) There is a poem about her that I always loved. I live in Bama though.

Iknow where it is, but my firstborn is just an hour south on I-20 in Livingston, so I tend to pay close attention to stuff because we're in Arizona.
