Cooking chocolate in Britain is much different I think to yours because ours is not bitter it is just a chocolate flavoured candy a bit like the cheap chocolate flavoured sweets that they make for children and is quite sweet.

In Britain they are often in the shape of tools or animals etc.

British Cooking chocolate is horrible IMHO and no true cook in Britain uses it they always use a good quality bittersweet chocolate (or as we call it plain or dark chocolate).

we have semi-sweet chocolate chips we use for cookies, but there is also the baker's chocolate that is horrible! It amazes me that you can put it in a recipe and have good tasteing treats!! You guys made me hungrey for chocolate so I had to go make my 2 minute fudge, it's setting in the fridge right now!! Can't wait!!
