I think that is very true about sugar. I have found this to be true with chocolate over the last 3 months. Having not eaten it for about 3 months I no longer crave it.
I am not saying I will never eat chocolate again but I do not crave it like I do before I cut it out.
I also agree about fat but of course here you have to be careful because fat is twice the calories of sugar. Though I have been dieting I have made sure that I have some fat in my diet - more probably than some who are not dieting in Britain but of course keep the total calories within my daily allowance.
Fat does fill you up and stops the craving for more that is why many people fail on a very low fat or fat free diet.

Yes 'tis true of chocolate as well as sugar. But don't they most often go hand in hand? Believe it or not, I snack on unsweetened baking chocolate squares. They are very high in antioxidants, low in carbs and have some fat in them. It is an ok kind of fat as opposed to the saturated fat kind. At first when eating them I just about gagged at the bitter taste and had to add a bit of honey. Now I can take them straight. I much prefer Hershey's brand, though, of what I have tried from the grocery stores.

Thanks, snugs .... here late tonight. What a great bunch of pictures. I love the little boy grin in the limo .. he's such a big kid at times, but his speeches this week have been just outstanding. He's letting America know how serious their election choices are, and I hope he keeps it up.
I have to agree about how important fat is .. good fat. The brain HAS to have it for healthy functioning, and so many folks make the mistake of eliminating it.
Here's some good info about fats.
