Terrorist Media PING
4,000 NON-Iraqi combatants in Iraq.
We are NOT at war with Iraq (mission accomplished, Saddam has been toppled) and this is NOT an insurgency.
The left is losing all of their talking points.

On the tape, al-Masri also urged Muslims to make the holy month of Ramadan a "month of holy war." "I congratulate the Muslim nation on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the month of jihad (holy war). I ask God to make it a month for honor and victory for Muslims," the voice said.
So we've HELD OFF on heavy combat during Ramadan out of "respect" for muslims and they see it as a time to INCREASE attacks.

If Al-Qaeda is admitting 4,000 losses the number is probably many times that amount. One good point is that he says they are in great need of explosives experts and scientists; this might mean they are running out of members capable of making bombs. He calls for scientists to make biological or nuclear weapons as a scare tactic. He refers to them, as what Americans refer to as "dirty bombs", which means a Regular (non-nuclear) bomb designed to spread radiological fallout. If scientists wish to pass on the money they could make for their training in order to go and die in Iraq helping terrorists, that's their problem. Our troops are equipped to deal with biological attacks far better than the terrorists are. If they did conduct such an attack, it wouldn't be the Americans that would be killed.
The mention of NBC weapons is only a scare tactic, if the terrorists were capable of using them they would due so with out giving us warning first. If they did actual use such a weapon it would be ineffective because our forces are equipped to handle such as attack, and their use of NBC weapons would create world support against the terrorists greatly hurting their cause.
The media may try to make the Al-Qaeda comments sound scary, but they actually say they are running out of people and people with and useful knowledge. In short they are getting desperate and are attempting to get support or do with Threats what they can't do with force.
I knew this'd come in handy again...
