I think the movie is cutting edge and deep, man. Explores the implications for the continued survival of mankind in a post apocalyptic world...there are excellent philosophical discussions within the movie, and visual metaphors and HALF NAKED GIRLS!!!
Yep that is Connery and not photoshopped. Zardoz came out a couple years before Star Wars in 77 and, brace yourself, Zardoz was a flop and didn't to good in theaters. :) Some apocalyptic movie.
